adr This 21-hour, 3-day workshop is designed to help you understand:

  • the differences between various dispute resolution options so that you can advise your clients and colleagues as to the most appropriate option for particular circumstances, and advise them in such procedures
  • the key principles of interest-based negotiation and be able to apply these principles in negotiation
  • mediation principles and processes

Note: While ADR Level 1 may be taken on its own, it has been designed as the first half of a 6-day integrated program leading to a certificate from the ADR Institute of Ontario. To obtain the ADRIO certificate, both levels must be completed within one year. (See also Level 2: Intensive Mediation Skills Clinic)
