Notes: This list attempts to be comprehensive to the year 1900. Most registers created after 1900 and not on this list are located in congregational collections.
When searching for Ontario Mennonite vital records, bear in mind that "dissenting" groups, such as Mennonites, were not allowed to perform marriages until 1831. Beginning in 1831, dissenting ministers were required to register marriages they performed with a Clerk of the Peace. Marriages were later registered with the counties (formed in 1850), and in 1869, civil registration began.
